Blind Puppy Hears She's A Candidate For Eye Surgery And Is All Smiles

A loving foster family took in a blind Pit Bull named Hazel. They learned how to use sound signals to help the pup get used to her new bearings. Hazel did her best to navigate her new digs but became overwhelmed and withdrawn. Her foster mom says she was “mopey” and only wanted to lay around.

Fortunately, after a few days of adjustment, Hazel became an entirely different dog! Her tail started to wag, and she became the playful pup that was hiding inside her all along! The vet also told the rescue group that Hazel was a surgical candidate for corrective eye surgery. If successful, the Pittie would regain her eyesight!

Hazel was placed in a new foster home that could accommodate her needs after surgery. The brave pup soon underwent the medical procedure, and while it would take some time for her sight to return, Hazel did great! The beautiful pup's journey is far from over. Check out her full story below!
